"Although he is very old, deaf, vision impaired and, sadly, we now know has a large and untreatable tumor in his esophagus, Dylan is our little angel. He is perfectly well behaved, sweet as can be, goofy, mellow and moves forward bravely with his life every day, despite his challenges. Every day with Dylan is a gift, and I could never measure the joy he has brought into our lives."

"Thanks so much for taking good care of our sweetie for so long!"

"I want to let you know that I am really happy – I get so happy all the time that my whole body wiggles and my new parents sometimes call me “wiggly worm”. I really enjoy playing tug of war with Dad and my new rope toy. I am really enjoying my new home. I want to thank all of those who took such good care of me."

"Hannah is doing wonderfully, she came into our lives as a scared little lady afraid of everything and everybody. But with much attention and love she has slowly come out of her shell and blossomed into quite the "bossy little lady". THANKS foha for bringing her into our lives."

Notice how nicely Franklin is sitting. It just goes to show how calm and relaxed a shelter dog can be in a loving home.

"We love our Trixie!!!" (And why wouldn't they? What a cutie!!)

Relaxing and chilling is what these kitties do best now that they have a wonderful home.

"Kitty is a wonderful addition to our little family, she is the sweetest girl and a really cut-up now that she is coming out of her shell. I cannot imagine our home without her. Thank you to everyone at FOHA who gave our shy little gal love and support during her stay with you!!"

"Balto is doing great! He loves playing with the kids and trying to find where there might be food in the house. And he follows me around all the time. In short, he's a great pet. Thank you to everyone at FOHA for helping us adopt Balto!"

Here we have Jilly (class of 2003) and Claudine (class of 2007). These two are getting along great and are having fun getting into trouble together!

"Tilly (middle) has a lot of attitude (we like to call it personality!), and gives our other two shepherds a run for their money even though she’s so much smaller. She’s quite quirky too."

Even though she's 11 years old, Zephyr is doing agility contests and is one of the most energetic dogs out there!

A once shy kitty is now living happily in her forever home. Her family just adores her!

"Sonora has very much filled my life with kitty-love again. She has claimed her kingdom ;-D"

"Our boys" are best friends and always full of energy...or sharing a bed. They love to chase each other around the backyard and one cannot go far without the other. We are so lucky to have adopted two dogs that get along so well and enrich our lives so much. Thanks, FOHA!"

"Our foster mom has been fostering cats/kittens for about 5 years and never adopted one……………until we came along! That's right, that's how SPECIAL we are! We tugged at her heart strings, we made ourselves right at home because that's what it felt like as soon as we left our carrier…..HOME. Much love to our brothers & sisters still looking for their forever homes."

"Miss Skittles is doing great. She comes downstairs every night after the boys are asleep and cuddles on the couch with me and/or my husband. I am glad she is now happy in her home."

This dog has come such a long way. See what a little TLC can do?

"We love her so much!!!! She purrs more than any other cat that I have ever had! Again, thank you so much for everything!!!"

"Mopsy is doing great. She loves life on the farm and her little boy. She adjusted to sharing life with horses, cats and chickens very well. No problems with any of them. She gets to run all day and then collapses into a deep sleep on our bed at the end of each day!"

Trick or Treat! Happy Halloween!
